ST.PAUL, MN- St. Paul’s historic Landmark Center is proud to announce its calendar of events for the month of March.
           
 March 2, 2008
 Urban Expedition: Guatemala ! // Cortile // 1 - 3 pm // FREE
 Authentic Guatemala music, dance, foods, arts and crafts, and lore will all be on the program for Urban Expedition:    Guatemala. Wonder at the beautiful Maya Textiles from Guatemalan Highlands presented by Richard E. Nelson and learn how to make   your own at home. Tasty food demonstrations, musical performances by a Marimba Band, cooking demonstration by Guatemalan Chef Amalia Damgaard and mask making workshops are all on the agenda! Common Hope will visually   showcase the educational work they have done in Guatemala and much more are in store for this fun day. Special thanks   to the Guatemalan Society of Minnesota!

  Come hear astounding classical music at the weekly Courtroom Concerts, every Thursday at noon.  Bring your bag lunch for   the event and The Schubert Club will provide the coffee.   Cultural Society of Phillippino Americans – Phillipino Day//Cortile// 12-4pm // FREE
 Bring the family to celebrate the culture of the Philippine Islands. There will be crafts, dancing, music, karate demonstrations and more.  Take in all things Irish at two evens you can’t miss at Landmark Center. Lively celtic music, dancing, and authentic wares     from vendors vault these as among St.Paul’s best traditions. Beer to Branches, Log to Lager // Gallery of Wood Art// 1-4 pm / FREE
Watch the chips fly as woodturners compete to create drinking vessels. The audience will be able to judge the artists on speed and style, and the drinking vessels for beauty and utility. Stop by from 1-4 during the St Patrick’s Day celebration!
