Urban Expedition occurs on Sundays from 1pm-3pm and are FREE & open to the public.*
The purpose of Urban Expedition is to have FUN and to LEARN! Enjoy a chance for your family to experience international music, dance, arts & crafts and more without leaving St. Paul . Kids get a passport and enjoy authentic cultural experiences from around the world. Last yearover two thousand children and their families attended the five expeditions and this year promises to be even more exciting. These free, public events will take place in the Musser Cortile and begin at 1:00 pm.

| Landmark Center' s increasingly popular globe-trotting tour for people of all ages kicks off with a trip to Germany! Authentic Germany music, dance, foods, arts and crafts, and lore will all be on the program for Urban Expedition: Germay! Enjoy German dancing in both polka and schuhplattling, hear an alpensterne, learn to make traditional paper stars or make your own edelweiss hat. On the main stage enjoy S. G. Edelweiss, an organization whose mission is to teach and promote traditional Bavarian folk dance and culture and stay for a dance lesson or two. Learn about your German heritage from the German Genealogical Society. Enjoy the taste of Germany with food purchase available from Black Forest Inn and Ruhland’s Struedel House. Take home products from Germany with vendors from German Specialty Imports, Traditional Paper Stars and Scan Dolls. Special thanks to GAI for all of their help and support! |
