Jazz Ensemble on the Cortile
Perfectly Harmonious Sounding from Saint Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists

Landmarks.  SAINT PAUL, MN -  Saint Paul’s historic Landmark Center will be filled with the talented Jazz Ensemble students of Saint Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists. Enjoy a beautiful free jazz concert on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at 11:45am – 12:20pm. After the concert, pick up some lunch at Anita's Cafe for a truly enjoyable time in the historic Landmark Center. 
The Saint Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists (SPCPA) is a public, 9-12 high school created to provide a college/conservatory preparation program for pre-professional actors, dancers and musicians.  It is sponsored by the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts. The school provides core academic programming in mathematics, language arts, science, social studies and Spanish College in the Schools courses in Literature, Composition and Political Science are offered in collaboration with the University of Minnesota.  Lab sciences are taught through a cooperative relationship with the Science Museum of Minnesota.  The school day is seven and one half hours in length to provide the time necessary for a rigorous academic program and three hours of training in the arts. SPCPA currently has 362 students in a total of 18 levels of proficiency in Theater, Dance, Music Theater, Instrumental Music and Vocal Music. 
The Jazz Ensemble meets weekly before school.

The Schubert Club - Courtroom Concert // Courtroom 317 // 12-1 pm // FREE
Come hear astounding classical music at the weekly Courtroom Concerts, every   Thursday at noon.  Bring your bag lunch for the event and The Schubert Club will provide the coffee.
