Super Arts Sampler

 Landmark Center's “Super Arts Sampler” will delight and entertain with a different art form each day. Performances are free, 12-1 pm, and visitors are welcome to bring their own lunch or buy one in Anita’s Café

January 29: Musical Monday!  Come and enjoy your lunch while listening to the music of local artist, Joey Ryan.


January 30: Taiko Tuesday!  Witness the powerful and athletic Japanese art of Taiko drumming, an ancient form of communication and meditation.


 January 31: Bomba Wednesday! Get ready to shake it when you learn Bomba, one of the traditional musical styles of Puerto Rico. It is the mixture of African, Spanish and Taino cultures. The base rhythm is played by two or more drums.  You can also help support the people of Puerto Rico.


February 1: Theater Thursday!  Travel back to 1930s Saint Paul as two of the city's most notorious partners in crime, bootlegger Leon Gleckman and St. Paul Police Chief "Big Tom" Brown reminisce about their roles during St. Paul infamous gangster hey-days.

February 2: Football Friday! History buffs and legal minds can examine the week’s main event through a law history lens with “Football Law in Minnesota.” The special installment of Uncle Sam Worked Here will be led by Marshall Tanick, lawyer at Hellmuth and Johnson PLLC, at 12 p.m. in Courtroom 326.
