SUMMARY:Romanian Spring Traditions: Painting and Classical Music
DESCRIPTION:HORA is happy to present the Romanian Spring Traditions exhibit between March 6th and April 15\, 2022. This event will be located in the North Gallery of the Landmark Center\, first floor. Visitors will get immersed in various art activities while learning about Romanian culture and traditions. All activities are free and open to the public. \nFeatured activities and artists for this event that takes place from 1 to 4 pm are: \n\nRaluca Boac performance: 1-1:30 pm\, room 317. Come listen to beloved Romanian classical music and find out what it takes to learn to play the piano.\nGina Johnson painting 2-4 pm\, room 317. You can learn how to paint a snowdrop\, the traditional flower of spring in Romania. Materials will be supplied\, and you can take your painting home. This event is open to everyone\, seats are on a first come first served basis.\n\nThis event is made possible with help from MN Landmarks and voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council\, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
