SUMMARY:Landmark Literati: Grace & Grit\, A History of Ballet in Minnesota
DESCRIPTION:Landmark Literati will welcome local author Ms. Georgia Finnegan on April 9th to do a reading and discussion on her recently published book with Afton Press\, Grace & Grit: A History of Ballet in Minnesota at 12pm at Landmark Center. Acclaimed dance photographer Erik Saulitis will join her as they share their journey in writing this book and verify ballet’s first roots in Minnesota and the people and companies who were significant for its growth. Georgia is a long-time friend of Landmark Center and we are thrilled to have her here to present this long awaited book. \nCopies will be available for purchase and both Author and illustrator/photographer will remain on-site for a book signing after the discussion. This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided.
