DESCRIPTION:Stand where Saint Paul began and walk through its origin tales and historic towers into its anticipated future. Downtown shaped the state of Minnesota through its booming population\, architecture\, and businesses. Learn of Saint Paul’s first murder\, first mystery\, and many stories of the first settlers. \nPlease make sure to arrive and find parking by 9:50 am\, tours depart at Kellogg Park (at the Kellogg Blvd/Robert Street entrance) PROMPTLY at 10 am. \n\n\nTours go out rain or shine (except during severe weather). The tour groups are limited to 20 participants. \nPlease also note that this tour has minimal walking throughout Kellogg Park. \n\nFree\, but reservations required: Reserve now \n\n  \n

SUMMARY:Music on the Cortile: Nolen Sellwood
DESCRIPTION:Music on the Cortile (previously known as Music from the Porch and Music in the Café) presents live performances by musicians in the picturesque Musser Cortile at Landmark Center. Taking place over four Wednesday lunch hours\, these concerts offer an opportunity to hear talented local musicians. Best of all\, they’re free and open to everyone. Attendees are encouraged to bring their lunch to enjoy during the concert. \nJune 26: Nolen Sellwood\nAt just 18 years old\, Nolen Sellwood\, from Prior Lake\, Minnesota\, made a remarkable entrance into the music world. Meeting producer John Wright in 2021\, Nolen arrived scruffy and guitar in hand\, eager to share his vision for a short “indie” album. Playing his original tunes\, Sellwood impressed Wright\, who was amazed to learn that Nick Drake heavily influenced him. Now\, Sellwood and his trio\, featuring childhood friends Sam Hovda on Piano and Trumpet and Owen Reinert Nash on Percussion and Bass\, offer a modern take on British Isles folk music.
