DESCRIPTION:The Saint Paul Civic Symphony presents a FREE concert of “Hot and Cool Classics” in Landmark Center with the theme “Planes\, Trains & Automobiles”\, performing the four pieces below: \nWalton: Spitfire Prelude & Fugue\nE. Strauss: Bahn frei! Op. 45\nHolland: Motor City ReMix (2014)\nConverse: Flivver Ten Million \n2025 marks the Centenary of the opening of the Ford Motor Co. Assembly Plant in Saint Paul (on the east bank of the Mississippi River in the Highland neighborhood in St Paul). \nThe featured piece of this concert concert is “Flivver Ten Million”\, which depicts in musical terms the “life” of the ten-millionth Model T Ford that rolled off the production line. Back in the day\, Ford’s Model Ts were made at the Saint Paul Ford assembly plant.  \nSundays at Landmark series is supported by Ecolab\, Hubbard Broadcasting\, Travelers\, Xcel Energy Foundation\, and Ramsey County.
