SUMMARY:Rocky Roots Walking Tour
DESCRIPTION:Rocky Roots Walking Tour\nJune 10th\, July 8th\, and August 12th at 10:00 AM\nTours depart from the Landmark Center Visitor Information Desk located on the first floor\n  \nWith permission from Ramsey County Historical Society\, this tour will explore the geological and architectural uniqueness of downtown St. Paul’s stone buildings. Most of the stone used in these buildings were sourced from quarries outside of the St. Paul area\, with many being from the Midwest. Every stone carries an ancient story\, and every building – a human creation of imagination and toil. This tour will bring to light a few fragments of these stories\, where the stone of the earth came together with human ingenuity in architecture and craft. This tour concentrates on Landmark Center and the surrounding neighborhood. \nThis tour is limited to 20 participants. Tours are free to attend but advanced registration is required! June tour date reservations will be open as of May 4th. July tour date reservations will be open on June 1st\, and August tour date reservations will be open on July 6th.
