Like Patty Griffin or Brandi Carlile\, she straddles the Americana\, Folk\, and Indie Rock worlds\, where meaningful songs meet the fierce-yet- fragile voices of powerful women. Like these other seminal artists\, Elkin has the gift of projecting very personal intimate moments into transcendent universal experiences that move us all. \nThe voice\, the stories\, the images\, the grace and infectious enthusiasm\, it’s a complete package. But it’s the power of her live performances that really have been creating an incredible buzz around this young artist. \nLandmark Center presents “Landmark LIVE” in the F.K. Weyerhaeuser Auditorium. Presented with support from the Minnesota Music Coalition\, KFAI Radio\, and the Pioneer Press these concerts begin at 8 pm and are preceded by a cocktail hour at 7 pm\, giving audiences an opportunity to enjoy complimentary refreshments and a cash bar. \nTickets are $20 in advance/$25 at the door and $70 for full season tickets.
