SUMMARY:Landmark Live: Chastity Brown
DESCRIPTION:Landmark Center presents the 14th season of “Landmark Live” in the lovely and intimate F.K. Weyerhaeuser Auditorium\, featuring the best of Americana\, indie rock\, jazz and folk music\, with support from KFAI Radio and the Pioneer Press. Concerts begin at 7:30 pm and are preceded by a cocktail hour at 6:45 pm\, giving audiences an opportunity to enjoy complimentary refreshments and a cash bar. \nTickets are $27.32 in advance/$30 at the door. Tickets include admission to cocktail hour from 6:45-7:30 pm. Season tickets for all three 2025 Landmark Live concerts can be purchased here for $69.38. \nBased in Minnesota\, with roots in Tennessee\, Chastity Brown grew up surrounded by country and soul music. In the gospel church of her childhood\, she played saxophone and drums and found her singing voice and a passion for music. She’s been featured on NPR’s Favorite Sessions\, CMT\, American Songwriter\, the London Times\, Paste Magazine and others. Chastity has toured the U.S. and abroad\, appearing on the U.K.’s Later…with Jools Holland. Since finishing her 2017 album\, Silhouette Of Sirens\, she estimates she’s written nearly 100 new songs\, ten of which found their way onto her latest\, 2022’s Sing To The Walls. Sing To The Walls is a sonically expansive album; it mines the roots of Americana\, folk\, and soul music\, but Chastity’s stories are delivered in a style that feels remarkably timely\, modern\, and forward-thinking. \nWe have limited wheelchair accessible seating. If you need to purchase an accessible seat\, please call 651-292-3063. \nPhoto Credit: Brad Ogbonna
