A Day of Peace

The day begins with a special program by Veterans for Peace: chapter 27, bringing together music, speakers and a call for peace when VFP-crafted Armistice Bells ring at 11 am on the 11th day of the 11th Month: the exact moment the bells rang out signaling the end of WWI.

The program continues on the Musser Cortile, with a Peace Fair. Over 200 organizations that promote peaceful solutions will have stations throughout. The program continues with Native American Drummers; Prayers for Peace in Four Voices; Music by Larry Long, Tom LeBlanc and Jacqueline Ultan. This will be followed by story teller Larry Johnson and a second ringing of the VFP Armistice Bells at 2 pm.
