Exhibit – The Saint Paul Bike Classic: A Retrospective of 25 Years of Poster Art

August 1, 2019

Free

More than a simple ride around town the Saint Paul Classic Bike Tour is a rolling festival of fun featuring live music at every rest stop, refreshments, and of course the beautiful parks and historic parkways of Saint Paul.

From August 1 – September 15, see the promotional art from the past 25 years. This North Gallery exhibit features historic maps and photos, as well as Classic posters, ride guides, T-shirts, “I Topped Ramsey Hill” buttons and a giant free-standing banner suitable for selfies. Over the years, Minnesota’s best artists and illustrators — Adam Turman, Roberta Avidor, David Mataya, Stuart Loughridge and Chank Diesel — have created eye-catching designs promoting the ride.

This year’s Saint Paul Classic Bike Tour is on September 8. A music-filled ride through Saint Paul unveils the beauty of the Capital City and celebrates our historic neighborhoods. The St. Paul Bike Classic is organized by The Bicycle Alliance of Minnesota. The poster exhibit is free and open to the public during normal building hours.
