Music from the Porch

Music From the Porch (formerly Music in the Café) hosts musicians on  Landmark Center’s Market Street entry “porch” for four Wednesday lunch hour performances. The concerts are a great opportunity to hear talented local musicians.  They are free and open to the public. Guests are invited to bring their lunch, along with a lawn chair, and masks & social distancing are encouraged. A limited number of chairs will be provided.

August 4: Lee Engele

Vocalist Lee Engele fronts local big bands, and her active solo career has put her in the company of both local and national artists. She has a number of self-produced CDs to her credit, and has also been featured internationally on a number of jazz and pop compilation CDs. Engele has also appeared at numerous festivals including the Twin Cities Jazz Festival, and concerts have included shows at Bloomington and Hopkins Centers for the Arts, Old Log Theater, and the Landmark Center.
