Ordway Inside Out: The String Queens

Ordway Inside Out is an initiative of the Arts Partnership (Minnesota Opera, the Ordway, The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, and Schubert Club) that utilizes digital technology to dramatically increase access to artistic programming in Saint Paul. Presented in coordination with the Saint Paul Downtown Alliance and Saint Paul Parks Conservancy, it provides audiences with the opportunity to experience free performances from all four organizations, streamed onto a giant 23′ x 13′ video wall in Rice Park.

The Ordway Inside Out series will begin with Christmas in July, featuring a presentation of The String Queens from their December performances at the Ordway. Returning with their signature soulful, orchestral sound, they share Our Favorite Things, music from their holiday album, and more seasonal favorites in a summer throwback to the wintry season. This recorded performance will take place on July 12 at 7 p.m. in Rice Park.
