Statement on COVID-19

Landmark Center strives to provide a broad menu of safe, family-friendly cultural events for everyone in our community. Cases of COVID-19 in Minnesota are rising. With this is mind, Landmark Center has put the health and well being of our audience, artists, community partners, and volunteers as its foremost priority. In light of the current health risks, Landmark Center announces the following changes to its schedule of cultural programs.

Irish Cultural Events

Landmark Center and the Irish Music and Dance Association (IMDA) have made the difficult decision to cancel our 2020 Day of Irish Dance and St. Patrick’s Celebration, scheduled for March 15th and 17th respectively. This would have been our 39th year of celebrating Irish culture and heritage, and the decision was not made lightly.

Urban Expedition Series

Urban Expedition: Poland and Hungary, scheduled for Sunday, March 22 has been cancelled, to be rescheduled at a later date to be determined. 

Urban Expedition: Senegal and Sierra Leone, schedule for Sunday, April 5, has been rescheduled to Sunday, May 31, 1pm – 3pm.  

Landmark Center and its partners are carefully monitoring the situation, and following the Minnesota Department of Health’s recommendations. Please return to the website for updates on cancellations and status of building activities.

    please consider cancelling the St Patricks Day events. Is Irish music worth the risk all the musicians and employees must take?
