Join the Heritage Organization of Romanian Americans in MN for the 3rd annual Romanian Film Festival! The festival includes 2 days of films at the Landmark Center in St. Paul – all free of charge!
The festival takes place at in the F.K. Weyerhaeuser Auditorium at Landmark Center on November 15-16, 2025.
Experience the evocative film series that explores the tension between darkness and illumination—both literal and metaphorical—within Romanian cinema. Between Shadow and Light invites audiences to experience stories that navigate the blurred lines between truth and illusion, memory and myth, oppression and resilience. Get ready to be captivated by stories that will touch your heart and ignite your imagination!
This event is realized in collaboration with the Romanian Cultural Institute, NY. Don’t miss this opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich culture and artistry of Romanian cinema. Grab your popcorn, sit back, and enjoy the show! It is recommended that attendees reserve seats ahead of time. Seats can be reserved for either day. While there is no cost for seat reservation or attendance, HORA is asking for a donation of any amount to help support this event and help us provide future free screening events.
